BALA CYNWYD, PA  -  October, 1, 2007 – Regional certified public accounting firm, Margolis & Company P.C. has announced its appointment of a Management Committee to lead the firm. After 14 years, Joseph R. Coluzzi, CPA has stepped down as Managing Principal.

“I felt the time was right to step aside and turn over management of the practice to the next generation. I will remain a fully active full time Principal with the firm. My focus will be to develop new business, manage my existing clients, continue to develop our M & A practice and assist the firm in every way I can to ensure its continued success, Joe said.”

As far as electing a new leader, it was unanimous that Joe’s shoes would be very difficult to fill. The firm decided to embrace a fairly new concept in the accounting industry: leadership by committee. Three Principals of the firm have been elected to take over the reigns and will oversee the operations of the firm: David H. Glusman, CPA, DABFA, Cr.FA, CFS, Joseph L. DeSimone, CPA, CVA, and Arthur M. Scherr, CPA. The Management Committee will work together to handle all aspects of running the organization.
