Joe DeSimone began working at Margolis & Company P.C. as an intern while attending Drexel University.  He graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, acquired his CPA in August 1982, and became a principal in the firm in 1995.

Joe has over twenty-five years of experience in providing accounting, tax and consulting services to closely-held businesses. Joe provides services for clients in the manufacturing, construction and wholesale distribution industries. He has developed an expertise in business valuations and he has earned the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). Joe has extensive experience in valuing closely-held businesses for a wide array of purposes including gift and/or estate tax purposes, succession planning and mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, Joe provides financial due diligence for numerous clients/buyers on various target companies. He also heads the firm’s Human Resource Development Program for all professional staff.
