David A. Price, CPA
Principal
David has been with Margolis & Company P.C. since 1986 and
became a principal in 1997. He has extensive experience in providing
accounting and business advisory services to middle-market companies
in diverse industries such as: wholesale distribution, manufacturing,
professional services, software development and implementation companies; collection services, law firms, advertising,
international sports wire services, web site developers and
securities brokers/dealers.
He directs the firm’s Professional Services Group, which
provides technical and consulting assistance to service oriented
businesses, including litigation support. In addition to
helping clients make important business decisions, David is also
responsible for managing and administrating various client engagements
including audits of companies, conducting historical financial
analysis, and preparing projections for business plans. David’s
forte is providing continuous business advice in day-to-day operations,
at times assisting in a CFO capacity. He also has extensive experience
in developing profit center financial reporting, by various teams
in a professional service organization, to ensure the accountability
associated with each team’s financial goals.
David is also
involved with the firm’s Quality Control Committee
and provides technical support for the professional staff.
