Jerry Shantzer is a Principal and Director of Margolis & Company's Family-Owned Business Services Group. Jerry has more than twenty-five years of experience in public accounting and has provided services for clients in diverse areas, including service businesses, wholesalers, distributors, import/export companies, and manufacturers. His clients range from closely held businesses to large publicly held companies and include businesses with operations that are located throughout the U.S. and internationally.

Jerry’s specialized expertise focuses on assisting clients with growth strategies, financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and counseling emerging ventures through securities offerings. He is also involved in helping clients to expand globally.

He has earned an excellent reputation for providing accounting and business advisory services to growing entrepreneurial companies and family-owned businesses.  In particular, Jerry is noted for his extensive experience in counseling entrepreneurs in profit and growth planning and works closely with clients in creating business value and wealth.

Because of his successful history in working with family-owned businesses, Jerry is often requested to intervene in problem solving for complex family business matters. He conducts seminars and has published numerous articles on financial issues that affect family-owned and closely held businesses.
